Gigabyte Aero 5 KE, how to force BIOS output to external screen?
Hi, I have a Gigabyte Aero 5 KE with a recently broken screen. Connected the notebook to an external screen with Windows working and I had video output. Then I disassembled the notebook to check if the screen had any label with it's model to search it.
When I started to disassembly it, the first thing that I did was disconnecting the battery and the CMOS battery. Disconnected the display cable, the screen and assembled it again. Then I turned it on without the screen cable connected and with an external monitor (HDMI), and I have no image. Tried again connecting the cable and nothing. The notebooks powers on, the keyboard lights and cooler turns on
So, I don't if I made a mistake and it isn't tuning on, or there is a BIOS screen saying "press random key to recover the BIOS" that I can't skip.
I also tried rebooting it with ctrl + alt + del or forcing it to power off, but I have no idea if it rebooted.
Is there a way to get out this deadlock? I don't want to buy a new screen without knowing if I killed it or not.
