when i think of eol i often imagine he'd love berries, in fact i often imagine me and him picking them together! we'd enjoy just prancing arround lookin for them in his fantasy island's very own forests and plains xP
i don't imagine he'd enjoy stuff thats overly salty, spicy maybe a little but not too much, i imagine his taste buds would be a little fragile to handle strong flavors like that nonstop :P

so i just recently got up a while back at 8:00, but thats not when i wake up, so i wanted to spend a tiny bit until im tired so i can properly wake up at 15:00 (don't ask about why my sleep schedule is so messy) and omg, i thought about him again and immediately started agressively cuddling with my blankets saying his name over and over and calling him silly, gahh,,, he is just so precious to me 🥺, i'd do anything for him and his embrace,, genuinely the fact hes not that well known makes me feel bad 😭😭😭😭,,, im lucky to have people willing to draw requests of him but at what point,,, aaaaa

not knowing how to backup my phone properly (im pretty sure my computer is slightly corrupted too and since i transfered something over usb to my phone that mightve broken things. i don't know what to do else next) aside, here's a goofy doodle of eol i got! almost bordering on chibi, its really silly and adorable!
so what i didn't want to ever see happen (locking me out of drawing him) happened. now i am completely unable to draw him, my phone's filesystem broke and its now leaving me no choice but to have my phone shut off and i can't use it until i fix it 😭 for context: i was just finishing and posting art on twitter until i went to my gallery and noticed my twitter folder broke, thumbnails weren't showing, i deleted it because of that and it didn't go to the recycle bin 😰 now i feel horribly depressed, because yes, i can do pixelart, but expressing my love for eol being restricted to just that now is highly frustrating, i am crying, i cannot draw comfort art of my sona and him together and its so so frustrating, i actually started sobbing and crying, i wish i can fix my phone soon,,,

the last part is true, yeah that's a thing he does in his Windows sequel, though it's a really small detail, on his house, he has a photo of him alongside a tree stump, yet it's so low res you can barely see it!

recently I've become aware of this "moon child" game out of nowhere and like, yeah! it's resurfaced in bluesky as a joke, so much the developers resurfaced and released the source code! I'm honestly so impressed, but I do get it, the theme song to the amiga demo version is stupidly catchy and funny 😭

as for the stuff I did myself? figured I'd put eol in the game's style since he originates from a obscure foreign computer platformer too so it makes sense haha
first is the sprite, which was very hard to get the shading right since I chose to do the final windows 95 release instead of the amiga demo which had smaller sprites
and second is the drawn artwork mimicking the 3d render seen in its box art, mostly as shading practice!, I usually don't do detailed shading so it was a fun exercise to do,,
