I’m from the US but early on I was thinking how Taylor and Sophie reminded me so much of Gavin and Stacey… but I didn’t know why. Then in an episode I heard a comment calling them G&S — so I’m onto something but I still am not sure why beyond attractive blonde female/ dark hair male.

Can someone from the UK explain why someone from the UK sees it too? Is there more to it than that? Thanks
