I blasted my Cyberpunk Red party with Get In The Water on loop for half a session
I'm playing Bellatrix "Blue Star" Bayer, a Rockerboy/Solo in Cyberpunk Red, who publishes dramatic readings of myths with modern Night City morals and covers for historically inspired songs from musicals like Epic or Six. Our crew went to acquire a silent engine from a tiny gang that was controlling public docks and bullying civilians, shoving people into the bay.
Blue Star rallied the civilians and demanded the gang surrender the docks or die. I put Get In The Water on and spammed alternate lyrics for the rest of the session. The gig took two sessions, and when our GM stopped to figure out what an enemy would do: *cough* they could get in the water *cough*.
End Results:
- 3 enemies fled
- 8 enemies in the water or otherwise surrendered
- 9 enemies dead
- 30 civilians basically unharmed, fans of Blue Star and telling NCPD that we were heroes
- 4 free boats
- unquantifiable PR and street cred
How are my session notes? While the stressed-unstressed syllables are off, I think they're still singable?
