Was debating weather I need it or not, already owning the 18f2 and 23 1.4 wr, I do not regret one bit getting it. Managed to find one like new at half its price here.
Didn’t manage to shoot anything due to a lack of time, but all the test pics I did around the house were very sharp and fast to focus, seems like a generation more advanced than my 23 1.4 wr, which is an unexpected surprise.
Above photo was shoot using the X-E5.
By the end of the year I’d like to have finished a couple lens and camera combo reviews with Fuji used for automotive photography.

Got one to see how it compares quality wise to other 1/64 rwb’s

Some time ago, in 2023 if I remember correctly, I got an xt3 as a backup camera for my A7iii. Used it for a while, it somewhat became my main camera until the focus almost ruined an important photoshoot, was using the first 23 1.4 back then. I never really liked using the Sony but the sensor performance was good and paired with the 35mm GM it did good, to be honest, that 35gm was the only reason I kept using Sony. After that shoot I sold my xt3 and looked into getting the xt5. Back then, in 2023, everyone was complaining about the autofocus and I gave up.

Two weeks ago I decided to give it another try, in my mind I’d get the xe5 and get a speed booster and

Canon fd lenses if the autofocus would be bad. I paired it with the 23 1.4 wr as I always loved the field of view of the full frame 35. I was so pleasantly surprised about the combo’s performance that I sold my Sony 2 days later. Besides two small inconveniences, I feel like the xe5 is the best camera for me. This 500e was the first car I did a photoshoot with, more of a test though.

Currently looking forward into getting more lenses, like the 56 or 33.
