Is Google Health + Pixel Watch Google's biggest win? (or the opposite?)

Im writing this just to try and understand what am I missing? I get all of the frustration with the bugs but they will be temporary.

My biggest problem with Fitbit was how "bland" it was, no advanced metrics or interpretation of them. It always seemed like it was targeted just for people going on walks, no amateur atheletes etc. If you wanted a bit more, then this is not your product, just get a whoop.

I like that Google took the risk of being innovative and bring something we havent seen before, an actually useful AI health integration. The fibit/pixel sensors are great if not the best at this point. Google has closed the gap with Strava by allowing to import also non-map activities, so you dont need a Garmin or AW anymore. The recovery score is also one of the few ones that make sense, also mention continous hr tracking to calculate cardio load (AW cant do this)

If we are speaking about a Pixel Watch for example, I cant think of any other tracker that can do all of the fitness tracking + whoop level of health analysis.

So what I see is the definite merge of a full fitness tracker with a full health tracker, you have all of the gadgets in one.

I think Google has won the hype game . I see tons of fitness influencers getting the Fitbit Air just for the shake of its simplicity and price. It has become like a "pop fitness tracker".

Again I understand the frustration with this being a "half baked" product, but for what Ive seen, its potential is great.
