Need information on study permit..
Hey so I have recently been accepted to Sfu for ug in business management program via foundation route..
I had some questions regarding the visa process since I have no idea about it..
For my background I am from India. Graduated high school in may 2024. Had to take gap for 2 years because of father’s health..but not things are good I wanna get back to my studies..
in regards with my ties to India, my entire family lives here, my family business is based out of here, properties worth of almost 30+ cr is available, I know no one in Canada. Future plan is to come back and contribute to family business..
Information I need is
- The timeline, how much time does it take to get a visa if I let’s say start with the process next week.
- What all documents are required??
- I heard there’s an SOP required for the visa, so can someone elaborate on that as to what do I need to talk about in that sop??
- For finance I am using mix of family funds and education loan so what all documents do I need to show then ??
- How many months of bank statement is required and is there any certain amount has to present(like the USA) ??
Any additional tips which might be helpful… will be a great help…
Edit 1:- what about the scrutiny for Indian folks ?? If I genuine student and only intent is if study then should it be any problem ??
