Looking for cheaper shisha/hookah bars in Florence

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced shisha/hookah bar in Florence?

The cheapest one I could find in Florence is Caffè San Firenze, where shisha costs €45. There are others where the cheapest shisha is €60 (Shisha Florence Bar) or even €70 (such as Colle Bereto). I called nearly every shisha place in Florence that I could find on Google Maps, and those are the prices I was quoted.

In my experience, the cheapest shisha bars are usually the more traditional/ethnic ones (run by Indians, Pakistanis, Afghans, people from the Middle East, Turks, etc.) rather than the ones run by Italians, which tend to be much more upscale and expensive.

For comparison, where I live in Prato (close to Florence, but outside the city), there are good shisha bars with good shisha charging €12 and €15, and I also found one in Sesto Fiorentino for €20. Even in Milan there are lots of such places.

So I was wondering: does anyone know of any cheaper shisha places within Florence itself? There has to be some I’ve missed.

Thanks!

22-year old new Italian student looking to meet people in Florence (group meetups too)

Hi everyone

I’m Mirko, 22, an Italian nursing student currently studying in Malta.

I regularly come back to Prato (near Florence) to visit family, and I’d like to meet some new people in the Florence area, as my mother has recently relocated there for work, and I’d like to widen my social circle in this city and make new friends, especially with some international people and fellow students.

I’m interested in cafés, shisha/hookah hangouts, walking around the city, language exchange, travel, art, video games, and just having good conversations. I also have a strong passion for languages and enjoy learning about different cultures.

If anyone around my age (roughly 18–30) would like to grab a coffee, a drink, or hang out sometime, feel free to comment or send me a message :)

International students and expats are welcome too.

And if enough people respond, it would be great to organize a small group meetup as well!

I speak Italian natively, and English and Russian fluently, so don’t worry if your Italian isn’t great.

Looking forward to meeting some new people :)
