Inside Appointment Today - Moving Fiber Jack after inside install is done

My inside appointment is today. I'm planning on asking the tech if it's possible to have the fiber jack in my network room, which is on the other side of the house than where the NIU was installed. I never had a say in where that NIU was installed (it was several years ago).

Anyways, if the tech says no, I won't push it, but after the fact how hard would it be for me to just do it myself? I do have a brother is does HVAC/general handyman things. But is it as simple as just running a new fiber cable from the NIU around the outside of my house or into the crawlspace and up to the network room?

The Spectrum tech did that with Spectrum service, just ran the cable up through the floor.

The Cat6a cablling in the network room is then ran throughout the house in the attic. There's no conduit, however it's a pretty simple and straight run when me and my brother did it years ago.

Should I just not push and move it myself later? I will be using Google's equipment for the time being as my network equipment only does 2.5gig instead of 10gig (I have the 8gig plan).

EDIT: So my install date was just moved a few minutes ago without any prompt from me to July 15. This is the second time they've moved my install date, why do they keep moving it? The first date was June 26, now its July 15. I just want the service installed. The NIU is installed, the fiber cable is buried. Just the inside needs installing.

EDIT2: I managed to call and get them to reschedule it for today July 5th at 4pm now. They're saying the outside construction has not been completed yet. The NIU is installed, the fiber line ran from street to the NIU and buried. Then they said the reason it was originally rescheduled was due to not having enough light signal for the service and they had to come back out and fix it.

Fiber Install Date, hopefully this one is real this time.

So I just got an email saying Fiber is in my area (again). Went and purchased it and got an install date. Let's hope it's actually real this time.

For context, I got an email about this back in 2021-2022 for Raleigh, NC (just outside of Downtown Raleigh) and set a date, after about 4 months they finally removed my address and said I'm not in a service area. This is AFTER they installed the box on my house and everything.

For this new install appointment, I just got a text saying the next few days a tech will be by to install the line/box on my house, I wonder what they're gonna do when they see a box already on the house. The text says I don't have to be here for that.

I really want Fiber, but at this point I think it's to early to tell if this is real or just another screw me like a few years ago. Wish me luck! FYI, I signed up for the 8gig Edge service.
