Looking at the new Core Rulebooks, pg 183, and Ultra AC's do not list anything about jamming in their spec rules. RAC's, just above, specify that they jam and how. So it seems like UAC's no longer jam?

Im coaching girls in U10 Rec league, and although we work on 1:1 defending, and defending a point, only a couple kids really get it. week after week we get into the games, give up the middle to attackers, or worse, clear the ball into the middle, and give up uncontested goals. Its becoming demoralizing, frankly. Please help me ID some drills or concepts to reinforce to get us defending the zone of doom :)
What are your favorite Little Bastards? To me, a Little Bastard is a mech that is 1) cheap enough to not care about losing, 2) annoying enough to hit/kill your opponent never feels good shooting it but 3) dangerous enough that your opponent doesn't feel good about ignoring it either. The Panther is perhaps the ur-Little Bastard, but my personal fav is the Pack Hunter. Who you got?

Hey here’s the scenario:
Location armor is gone and we are doing pip damage on internal structure. Medium laser hits, 5 pips dmg, do I roll once or 5x (one for each pip) on the “did you crit” table? How does this change if I hit 2 times, for 2 pips each, from a machine gun?

What are the “standard” BV amounts for a side in table play? Like in 40k you’d rock up to your LGS with a 1000 or 2000 pt force ready to go. Whats a “let’s play X” standard for BV?
Hi fellow Mechwarriors. Is there a list of good resource for new tabletop players? I found Master Unit List, and Sarna of course, but like good web-based list building or game tracking tools, list of the mech readouts? I see Catalyst sells boxed sets of mechs but are there one off anywhere that isn't like, Ebay? What's the plan here? Thanks :)
