What happened to W max 2nd?

I remember maybe 2 years ago, W max became really popular. I thought it was pretty interesting but looking now it looks like everyone is back to E max, so I was just curious if something happened with it.

Stove buzz/humm noise ?

used the stove for a few minutes to boil water, went out for maybe 15 minutes, came back and noticed this noise. i think its been maybe 10 more mins now?
i havent used the stove in a bit so i dont remember if this is normal
