I'm going to be visiting family in Boulder and figured I'd ride Far Out Gravel #1 while I'm in town.

Planning on doing the 100 mile route. I've ridden in Boulder a bit (eg., climbed up to Gold Hill) and I've done 100mi/10K' rides before — but I'm going to be coming from sea level so I expect to get my ass kicked, lol.

Has anyone done this event before? And/or planning on doing it this year? Any reviews or thoughts?

Also would appreciate any advice on the terrain and tire recommendations from folks who know the area. I'm running GravelKing SS 45's right now, but wondering if I should put on some 50's or 55's. Maybe Caracal Race or G-One's or something like that.
