My worst nightmare came to life but it will not stop me 😔

Came home from a great trip to nyc at 5 am ready to go straight to bed…. Walked in my bedroom and my shelf collapsed while I was gone. After a good sleep deprived cry I’m ready to make the best out of uncontrollable! 9 vases survived untouched but there were many casualties 💔 I have started to go through and collect all the pieces I can to glue the vases back together but some are just not salvageable. My question is what do I do with the beautiful collect of broken glass shards? Has anyone seen a craft or idea on how to use them?

First tattoo, how do I protect it?

I just got my first tattoo yesterday and I love it but I have to go to work tn as a server and I’m not sure how I should keep it protected? I work in a very fast paced environment, I bump into things, get beers splashed on me, etc. I got sent home from the tattoo with cling wrap and was told to take it off two hours after, I’ve been following all the steps my artist gave me but it feels wrong to just have my tattoo exposed to all that on the second day! It’s on my outside of my forearm (wrist to elbow) not the easiest place to avoid touching things with. My idea was to either but cling wrap on it for the shift or wear a long sleeve, I know neither of those are ideal… any suggestions?
