I have a wide toe-splay due to never wearing restrictive shoes.

I’ve been trying to find some wide-toed snowboots.

I’m looking at a pair of Xero boots. The sole is very thin though. I’ve read that they wear out fast and I walk multiple miles a day on asphalt and concrete. I’d prefer something with a much thicker sole, but this is one of the only brands available to me.

Does anyone have any experience with them? They’re not cheap and I need them to last many years to justify this kind of purchase to my parents.

I’m looking for winter boots with a very wide toe box.

Not work or hiking boots, just something very lightweight to walk to school in the snow/ice.

I’ve tried different barefoot boots, but the soles were too thin and had no grip.

I have narrow feet with toes that fan out.

I’ve been looking for a cushioned shoe with a wide toebox for long walks/runs on asphalt.

After trying countless brands, I ended up with Altras, but they’re uncomfortably tight on the tops and sides of my toes and give me blisters.

The next size up is still too narrow in the front, but too wide in the back and of course way too long and thus a major trip hazard.

I’ve also tried “hacking” my barefoot shoes with insoles for this purpose, but I need more cushioning due to medical reasons.

Grateful for any suggestions on shoe brands.

I was just wondering, if my Crocs caught fire right now, would they melt or would they burn?
