Please help!! Any ideas what might be causing water the build up in the wall/baseboards that corner the tub/shower combo?

I've attached pictures and boxed in the area where water is leaking. It seems to happen most times when we shower, we've checked for splash zones already, ripped out and replaced baseboards (the drywall behind did not seem damp so we decided to leave it be), we've tested out different angles but cannot locate the cause of this water damage.
