DO NOT TRUST SMOKE SHOP/GAS STATION KAVA SHOTS

This might be obvious to many people out here already but I hope I can help at least one person by warning them about these new kava shots coming around. When I was coming off of a nasty kratom extract shot addiction I sought to use "kava" shots as a way to get through it easier. There's many of these tainted kava shots out there right now like boujee bliss, 777, juju, betterweather, etc.... My first introduction to it was my local smoke shop guy basically telling me "hey bro these new kava shots came in and they're just kava, these ones are FDA approved! (they're not)". When I quit kratom extracts I had nasty nasty anxiety and these "kava shots" took all the anxiety away like it was magic! I had a feeling this couldn't be just kava but kept looking at the ingredients and asking chat gpt about them and I really got finessed into thinking it was just kava. The brand I used in particular was "Juju by Krushed" and I used them all throughout quitting extracts and ended up just getting hooked on these hardcore. These things are dangerous asf man, they WILL cause withdrawals!!! My guess is they have tianeptine or 7oh in em. I started downing 3-6 of these a day which was even worse than my peek zana chill addiction. Thinking they were just kava made me feel okay to take as many as I needed to feel better and it got out of hand really fast. I've done my research and found only very small groups of people spreading awareness about these things, so I feel it's very important to get the word out more. Especially if kratom is banned in your state you can certainly expect to find these tainted shots around your stores.

I understand I'm a complete dumbass for ever trusting a smoke shop product to actually contain only the ingredients it claims to have in it. I am embarrassed that I was this naive and it led to me being hooked on bullshit for another few months. Anyways, please don't be dumb like me, if you see these products do not indulge... they are poison. About 2 weeks ago my liver started hurting and I started vomitting daily from these products. Thank god I had my bloodwork done and everything is healthy. Luckily it's completely scared me away from these products and forced me to face the reality of abusing bullshit smoke shop concoctions. I'm over 3 days clean from them and am not looking back. Love you guys, stay safe, healthy, and clean! 🫶🏼

14 Days

Short back story, I started taking extracts (zana chill) around September or October of last year. Quit once for a week when I was 1.5 months into addiction, relapsed bad about 6 or 7 days later. Started taking 3-4 bottles a day until mid April when I finally quit a second time. Relapsed 8 days in but wasn't quite using every day like before. Got pretty out of control again 4 weeks ago and went back to 2-3 bottles a day up until 14 days ago.

14 days is by far the longest I've stayed off since I started this nasty habit. The habit was absolutely consuming my life and I was genuinely miserable every day just waiting for my next dose so that I could feel good for maybe 30 minutes at best. That is absolutely no way to live. Surprisingly I still have some very minor withdrawals but everything has gotten much better, sleep is the only variable that's still a little troublesome. Mentally I am doing a lot better as well, the anxiety/depression has become pretty minimal and only lasts for a small portion of the day.

Anybody who needs that extra to push to quit, do it. I couldn't be any more grateful to be off this shit. I have my life back, there's still some recovering to go but it's a day & night difference between how I was in the peak of my addiction. When I think of extracts like zana chill, kanva focus + flow, or feel free, I don't think about how good the high would feel anymore. I think about how absolutely miserable and insufferable my day will become 90 minutes after I take it. The few times I've craved it since quitting I simply tell myself, "I don't do that anymore". Identify yourself as a person who simply doesn't use anymore instead of trying to constantly remind yourself not to use today. Because when you do that suddenly there isn't a back and forth argument in your head on whether you should take it or not, you can only win that argument so many times before your brain finds a way to trick you into taking some.

Rooting for all you guys in here, there is so much life to be lived outside of these stupid fuckin bottles. Much love you all 💙

Day 7 Again

My last post I made here about 60 days ago or so I was 7 days free of Zana Chill extracts. I had my first relapse about 10-11 days in but gave myself excuses because I had tried Kanva Focus & Flow for the first time instead of takint Zanas. Obviously this makes no sense to do but I started fiending again and my brain used the Kanvas as the loophole to convince myself it's okay to take every once in awhile. From there I think I took another one a couple days later. Then a couple days later I had the grand idea of taking a Kanva & 7oh in the same day! Genius right? It was at this point that I kinda just started losing every ounce of work I put in. I wasn't taking anymore 7oh but I was starting to use Kanvas about once or twice a day for 1-2 days in a row, then take 1-2 days off, and then repeat. Some weeks I would be using only 2-3 days out of the week and some I would use about 5 days out of the week.

I really tried to justify this habit again because I was now "strong enough" to take a day or two break after my binges. I actually started experiencing minor withdrawal after every single night I used them. My body never got the chance to fully recover from withdrawal in that 10-11 days I was off it so the repeated on & off use was absolutely fucking my nervous system. Sleep was bad, anxiety was bad, I felt sick throughout the days, sometimes vomitting, or extreme nausea. I was completely embarrassed & ashamed of myself. We all know that "just one time" bullshit is never actually gonna be just once, but we still do it.

Two weeks before I finally quit again is when it got very bad. I used probably 6 days in a row, now I was starting ti integrate the zana chills back in the rotation though, and some days even hitting 3 bottles a day again. And then finally the week before I quit again I used 6 days again, also hitting anywhere from 2-3 bottles a day. On top of that the one day I "took off" I tried something called "buzzers". If you don't know what that is, it's basically a so called 7oh alternative that they sell in smokeshops now that 7 is banned in California. I am absolutely positive there is MGM in them. The effects were so strong I literally couldn't piss for the next 16 hours. So needless to say I was starting to hit rock bottom again. The only bright side is that I was so used to quitting off & on for a couple days that this time I was able to get off pretty easily. I've been having some mild withdrawal for the past 7 days but I can tell it's nearly over.

Use this as a lesson, even if you manage to not use every single day like me, withdrawal can still happen, all of the anxiety & depression will still happen, and it will only be a matter of time until you go back to taking every day. I am 7 days clean and also quit vaping over 3 weeks ago. Life has not been perfect but I am still proud of myself for stopping when I did. I wish everyone in here a speedy recovery and best of luck 💪🏼

Day 7 without zana chill and this has been the happiest I've been in a long time! I know today might not stay perfect like this but I am really starting to feel human again. Last night was the first time that I didn't have to wake up at 3-4am to dose leaf because of withdrawals. I'd be lying if I said that ALL physical symptoms are gone but they're extremely minor now, outside of my stomach still recovering from all that use 😭. Can't believe I made it to 7 days, when I compare this week to last week I can see enormous differences and I'm excited to feel even better next week.

Starting to feel more and more human each day. There's parts of me that are definitely scared I won't ever be happy again but I know this will change. I just gotta stay true to the process and let everything recover.

Good luck today everybody!
