The voice training app we announced last year is finally live

Hey everyone again!

Some of you might remember my post from last year (https://www.reddit.com/r/transvoice/comments/1oimme0/were_building_transvoice_a_new_app_for_trans/). I'm Lea, a trans woman from Germany, and together with a small, mostly trans team we've been building transvoice.app, an app to make voice training more accessible, structured and affordable.

It took a few months longer than planned, but we're finally live! You can now use TransVoice on iOS, Android and in your browser.

Everything's linked on transvoice.app.

What's in right now:

  • Live analysis tools for pitch, loudness and spectrum, so you can see your voice in real time while you practice
  • Community voting: anonymous perception ratings on your voice clips from other users
  • Focus mode for distraction-free practice, plus custom tool layouts
  • A journal to track your practice over time

We're currently building the structured course and plan to release the first modules in July.

Everything is free for now. If you want to support the project, there's a one-time Supporter purchase in the app. No subscription, no ads, ever.

This community, r/germantrans and our beta testers shaped the app a lot, we even found our developer and designer through trans subreddits ❤️. Honest feedback helps us a lot, so if you have any ideas let me know! I read everything.

Note: TransVoice is a self-guided training tool. It doesn't replace working with a licensed speech therapist.
