Hooked this guy in the bluegill pond with my ajing rod, 500 size reel, and a 1/64oz jig with a cut down donkey tail Jr.

I recently got my first tenkara rod and thought this might be easier for my six year old to cast and catch with than the little spincaster he has, so I picked him up a $20 Amazon rod, put some 15lb mono on for the main line, and ran a leader to a #12 pheasant kebari. He was pulling bluegills in until he couldn't take the mosquito bites any more.
