Data Centers or Steel Mills?

I get that Reddit is a 75/25 leftist echo chamber but the discourse around data centers is to the point that it has to be pushed by foreign actors.

There are obvious misleading facts around water and power usage. And even then, with rapidly improving efficiencies, the per capita usage is and will continue to decrease.

I could understand if ABC Steel Company was putting in massive plants around Marietta, but you’re not dealing with massive smoke stacks with data centers.

Ultimately, it seems like a large number of the anti-data centers do not believe in creating jobs in the community. The only “job” that cohort of people believe in are social workers occupied by H1B visas.

I’d like to ask the moderators to keep this post up in the interest of fairness. Yes, this will be downvoted heavily, but there are dozens of posts from an anti-data center position. It’s only fair to the debate to have the other side present.

Avoid scorpion for websites

Scorpion promised the world and then didn’t remotely deliver. Apparently I don’t own any of the content on the website and migrating away from their proprietary platform is going to be a huge pain in the ass.

Look for other marketing companies!

Why is it the bluer the part of Cobb, the worse the schools are?

Genuinely do not understand why we can’t have nice schools where more of us are…
