Hopefully this isn’t an overly asked question. I have a 3060-level performance PC and I’m using ALVR (similar to virtual desktop) with SteamVR as my base. However, ALVR still seems blurry and blocky even after fine tuning. I’m considering buying a cable so I can use ALVR at a much higher bitrate and hopefully get a better image. What’s the best setup? Is wired usb 3.1 still the standard? I’ve also heard about Ethernet adapters, but some mention diminished returns. I used to to wired quest 2 PCVR back in 2021 but things have changed so much since then.

Not sure if I can post this here but whatever. I’m trying to play HLA via casting to my Quest 2. (This does add some complications but idk). The game runs fine on my hardware, but every time I load a level/scene, and also on other occasions, the game crashes itself and/or steamVR. I’ve tried many fixes online but nothing works. Apparently this game has had issues like this since launch. I’d be appreciative if anyone here had a similar experience and fixed it.
