Haunted Doll 

Haunted Doll turns the mysterious doll (located via the pocket marker) into a cursed gameplay object.

When a Zoi examines the doll, the interaction now causes a stronger haunted effect. Instead of feeling like a normal decorative object, the doll drains your Zoi’s Fun, Energy, and Recognition while adding a long-lasting haunted mood. Based on classic possessed doll, horror tropes.

No More Small Talk Mod

No Small Talk is a lightweight inZOI gameplay mod that removes repetitive small talk and chitchat behavior from the Talk system.

This mod is for players who want less filler conversation and smoother interaction flow between Zois.

Simply put:

This mod stops Zois from getting stuck in extra small talk and chitchat after social interactions. It keeps normal social options available, but removes repetitive filler talk so players have more control over the flow of conversations and are less likely to run into unwanted small-talk interactions.

- Removes small-talk style queue bubbles that occur after social interactions

- Disables chitchat continuation behavior to reduce long filler conversations

- Keeps regular social interactions available

I made a sit with your emotions mod. This mod actually allows you to gain emotional buffs from using the self-sit down poses. It comes with 3 emotional buffs to 4 poses. See below.

I think I made a mod that stops zois from constantly checking their shoes and looking awkwardly around the environment every 5 seconds.

I get annoyed seeing Zoi’s check their shoes or slow down in pace for no reason. I think the mods allows them to simple just…walk.

First Mod Creation

I finally took the plunge into the MODKIT and created my very first mod. I was really frustrated with the game dumping 3+ massive homework tasks on high schoolers right at dismissal, so I decided to fix it.

This mod I made heavily reduces the high school after-school workload. I cleared out the extra chores, talking tasks, and random scripts, and leaving only: 1 book inventory assignment provided by the school itself

Right now there’s no performance decrease from the other task being gone because there is no fail script.

This gives your teenagers more time to focus on clubs, afterschool activities, and relationships.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to try it!

So..um.. about teen Homework (High-school Update)

I’m really enjoying the new inZOI update, but why does the team have our teen Zois completing THREE homework tasks every night? 🫪😂 I have three teenagers in my high-school!

Even as an actual teacher myself, I looked at that and said, “Okay now, I see why my students complain.” 😄

Honestly Feels like inZOI Can Finally Breathe 🥲

I’m honestly glad another life simulation game has finally been released. It feels like those of us who actually enjoy inZOI can finally breathe a little.

For a while, inZOI felt like the main target for every complaint, comparison, and nitpick in the life sim community, especially because it became the current second major option after The Sims. Now that Paralives is out in Early Access too, the attention is more spread out, and inZOI can be appreciated by the players who genuinely enjoy what it offers.

I get it. There are certain boundaries people have, and there are features other players are not willing to accept. Some people do not like AI. Some people do not like realistic graphics. inZOI should not be free from critique, but at least now the critiques can hopefully come more from people who actually want the game to succeed and become the best version of itself.

That feels like a breath of fresh air. The inZOI community does not have to deal with as many people who were never interested in giving the game a fair chance or those that constantly downplayed the game or making people feel bad for liking it.

I say this with respect toward Paralives. I hope it does well. I’m just happy that inZOI fans may finally get a little more space to enjoy the game without so many negative assumptions hovering over every discussion.

Example:
A scientist parent encourages their child to become a researcher.

Relationship strength, traits, values, and preferences could affect whether the Zoi accepts the suggestion.

  1. Recommend Someone for a Career
    A Zoi can encourage another Zoi to join the same career field they work in, even outside of businesses.

Example:
A firefighter encourages their friend to become a firefighter.
An entertainer encourages someone to pursue music or acting.

This could unlock career interests, temporary urges, or increased chances of applying for that career path.

  1. Persuade a Zoi to Quit Their Job
    A Zoi can ask a spouse, friend, or family member to leave a specific career.

Example:
A spouse asks their partner to quit a dangerous criminal career or stressful scientist position.

Depending on relationship strength and personality, the Zoi may agree, refuse, or develop resentment over time.

Editing new career lots?

Has anyone edited the career buildings that were introduced to the game, such as the journalist lot called “The Press”? I don’t mind the building itself, but I feel like there could be more features/decor added to it. Additionally, I believe it would benefit from a redesign in terms of color and some other aspects.

Has anyone edited a lot yet, and if so, has it caused any issues? Thanks!

Ruben actions (including physical and emotional abuse, explosive behavior, manipulation, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and forcefulness)are deeply harmful. However, as wrong as these behaviors are, they feel less severe than Alby’s near-outing of Niall.

While outing someone is a serious violation, I can see why some fans still support Ruben and Niall’s possible relationship despite their flaws. Those issues may be overlooked, but the act of outing is where many people draw the line.

What stands out to me is the double standard: Ruben isn’t expected to grow or change, while Alby is held to an impossible standard of perfection automatically.

Alby has already communicated his grievances to Niall and even invited his abusive brother into the situation, which only worsened the conflict.

Yet, many seem willing to overlook that while the outing is treated as unforgivable.
It’s interesting how some fans still root for Niall and Ruben’s relationship, while Alby is labeled as the problem…It feels like people are quick to condemn one wrong while excusing far greater ones.

My thing is… Ruben and Niall good as Ruben as abused countless others consistently but Niall and Alby bad because he is pretentious and did a bad thing…???
