Jezz, I can’t be the only one who finds the obvious difference in age and height a bit off-putting, especially when she was a little girl and he was a teenager or when the artists can’t seem to draw teenagers without making them look like adults.

Added to that, the second ML usually spends more time with FL in the novel and manhwa. Logical, as they’re the same age and he always has a friendly, outgoing personality. Consequently, he also becomes a more beloved character among readers.

This makes it unnecessary for the second ML to end up falling in love with her, which won’t lead to anything.

The question is: Does it really affect the story if the female lead and the male lead are the same age? Because it usually doesn’t change the plot at all, other than the fact that HE has more responsibilities to fulfill.

If I were to give them a point, it’s that they’re all with the female lead when she’s older. Although they started to develop feelings for her when they were teenagers and she was a child, idk
