Is there any way to DICTATE a text, while in a Zoom meeting?

On my iPhone 13, I’m in daily zoom meetings for the chat (no need to hear the speaker). I’d like to simultaneously dictate texts to my customers outside of zoom.

In other words, I want to be able to have the zoom meeting app open but also dictate texts in different apps.

I’ve tried:

- disconnecting zoom audio (in the meeting)
- disconnecting zoom audio while also disabling zoom microphone access (in settings)

Nothing is working—the microphone button for text dictation remains grayed out as long as I’m in Zoom. Does anyone have a trick?

Thank you so much!

Have we seen this article about the shopper abusing her son?

If this has been posted multiple times, I apologize. As a shopper, I just found this so disturbing. The poor kid.😞

Is it just me, or are people extra oblivious and disrespectful at Costco than at other places?

I’m at Costco minding my own business, and I swear… There are tonnns of individuals, couples, families and other groups… who just seem completely oblivious that other people exist.

Walking directly in your path without noticing you, forcing you to stop, literally bumping right into you without seeming to notice and without apologizing, blocking everyone with their carts and walking off.

Is it just me, or is there something extra rude, self-focused, and disrespectful about Costco patrons?

Btw I have noticed this for years, but it’s extra getting to me today.

A food scam of the 90s was “fat free!” everything, and then they would load it up on sugar… what’s a food scam happening now?

Why do some people have obnoxiously loud music, shows or talking videos blaring out of their phones in public places, as though they think everyone wants to hear it?

If we could look up on the app how many shoppers were active in our area at any given moment.

Like if there were a Shopper map as well as a store map… And we could see different circles of where other shoppers were.

And if it were a huge number, we could just avoid those areas.

But of course they would never do anything like that. Because their power lies (no pun intended) in our ignorance, and in having tons of shoppers out everywhere, constantly hungry for orders in case something comes up.

I’m just so annoyed with the lack of orders (especially on a Saturday?!), and knowing it’s because of a surplus of shoppers. People are definitely ordering. I’m just not seeing the orders.
