Man the main sub is not a fun place to be.

Went to a Lake Elsinore Storm game last night to watch them play against the Ontario Tower Buzzers, and it was a lot of fun! The Storm wound up absolutely owning the Buzzers 17-1, with the Buzzers only getting a run in the ninth. The Buzzer’s starting pitcher was being a diva about the mound for some reason, which lead to a ridiculous pause in the middle of one early inning while the grounds crew came out to fix it. The pitcher then proceeded to give up something like 12 runs so it obviously really made a difference.

It was my first time going to a minor league park, and I really enjoyed baseball without being crazy overstimulated. Tickets were cheap (concessions were NOT), it was fun to watch a bunch of runs, and the park was lovely. Plus, they have a big porch with misters on the third base side, because it gets HOT.

If you get a chance, go to a minor league game! It’s fun to see young talent and support the team in chiller environments.

And both at their respective home parks!!!
