Think I hate Pedalboards

But I love effects pedals!

I don't know what's more expensive. Buying a pedalboard already modified for you, or modifying it yourself. Tools, supplies, time...extra pedals you see on the internet and immediately think, "THIS, is THE ONE I NEED!"

In one week, I think I dropped about $400.

Anywho, once my Freq Out gets here, that Iso-Brick is going under the board.

Oh and by the way....for all you Sonic Stomp haters, the magic in that pedal is when you're being mic'd and through the main speakers. The sub lows are effective. Just don't expect the same results direct while playing at low volume.

Give it to me!

Current pedalboard:

- Boss TU-3 – Chromatic Tuner

- MXR Dyna Comp – Compressor

- Boss NS-2 – Noise Suppressor

- Horizon Devices Apex Preamp

- Boss MT-2 Metal Zone – Twilight Mod

- Oneder Effects HW-2

- Oneder Effects My Boosts Over You

- Boss GE-7 – Graphic Equalizer

- BBE Sonic Stomp – Sonic Maximizer

Running the rig using the 4-cable method.

Why so many dirt pedals? Each one has a different job.

- Horizon Apex Preamp – tight, modern high-gain rhythm tone.

- MT-2 Twilight Mod – more aggressive, nasty hardcore/punk distortion with a very different EQ character.

- Oneder HW-2 – my third voice; thicker, rawer and more old-school/chaotic.

- My Boosts Over You – not really another distortion so much as a way to push, tighten and reshape the others.

The idea isn’t to stack everything at once. It’s basically multiple different amp/distortion voices on one board depending on what style I’m playing.
