Buying in Gilbert rn?

Me and my husband (28yrs) are currently looking to buy a house within the next 6-8 months. We are working with a realtor, and have seen some amazing listings, but we can’t help but notice all of the water bill issues, and have had multiple people tell us we’re shooting ourselves in the foot if we choose to move into Gilbert right now.

My husband is also unsure on what to expect for an electric bill in a house, since we have always lived in apartments, and is always being told how expensive electric is in a house.

We don’t want to be priced out by utilities, just for a set location.

Can we get some insight from other locals on general or average utility costs? (Think standard SFH, 2 story, 2 people, no pool, etc)

TIA!

I recently switched from an older windows to mac, but am wondering which would be faster in general, but mostly for Adobe Lightroom. There’s so many specs, it’s hard for me to understand the difference in everything other than RAM 🤭 In the photography pages, they recommend 24gb for Lightroom and Adobe, not sure how that changes with a lower model chip.

M4 10 core CPU/GPU 24gb RAM

or

M5 10 core CPU 8 core GPU 16gb RAM
