Trying my best .. but i m new learner (1.5 month)
Hi everyone! I am very new to paper quilling—it’s only been about 1.5 months since I started this journey. I have a question regarding the post-processing and protection of my art pieces.
Do we absolutely need to varnish paper quilling art? If yes, which type of varnish or protective spray is the best to use, and what is the ideal amount to apply per piece?
Yesterday, I bought a can of Arfina Artists' Fixative (Transparent, Matte/Non-removable) and tried it out. Surprisingly, the entire can finished after spraying just 10 of my art pieces! I feel like I might have made a mistake or over-applied it.
Any advice, tips on the right spraying technique, or alternative product recommendations from experienced artists would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much
Hello everyone! I wanted to share my latest creation with you all. This is the first time I have ever attempted a quilling calligraphy piece.
I am still very new to this art form—I have only been quilling for about 1.5 months now. I know there are so many incredibly talented and master artists out there whose level of skill I can only dream of reaching, but I have a huge passion for this and see it as a long-term dream for my future.
"I have been working on paper quilling for a month now, but I still have so much to learn. I live in Bangladesh, and unfortunately, high-quality quilling tools aren't easily available here. What is the actual market demand for quilling art? Is it sustainable to pursue this as a serious, advanced-level career or business?"
