I found this book at a random shop the other day but couldn't find too much info on it. It's in rough condition so I'm waiting on some gloves to open it up. Any information on this edition?
I finished the install of this heat pump last week and have been experiencing some issues with it. I don't know if it's user error, install error or something else. I'd like to see if there are any suggestions on avenues to explore to remedy this.
For reference, the model is the 24k hyper heat ducted. The ducts run to each of the four bedrooms and the intake runs to my middle hallway. The unit only is responsible for cooling the second floor, about 1000sqft. An entirely separate unit cools the first floor.
The two primary issues I am experiencing are:
-Setting it to cool mode doesn't cool at all
-fan speed does not change with new selections
I ran the unit on Cool for about 6 hours set at 70°, and exactly no change in temp (I was downstairs and not paying attention). I switched it to Dry and immediately the temps started dropping and within a few hours had dropped from almost 80° to 72°. By the time I woke up this morning it was under 68°.
I have not been able to get the fan speed to change regardless of my selections.
I tested the heating mode and it appears good but the outside heat is keeping me from really trying this out. I did not install the heat kit to it.
As far as I can tell, the install was correct, the air handler and condenser are connected with 18/2 thermostat wire. The thermostat is connected with 18/2 to the air handler. The thermostat came with a different wire than the 18/2 (several wires within a wire harness at each end) but the instructions did not show how to install this, it showed the 18/2 connection. My gut feeling is the thermostat is not wired correctly based on the symptoms and this unused wire. Any suggestions on where to begin?
I just started Widow's Bay on Apple TV and man does it scratch that itch of small town New England. I'm only on episode 2 so I can't say much more about it yet
Any recommendations of favorites or best that take place here? Any genre. I'm guessing plenty of Stephen King adaptations. I've probably seen a lot of them but I'm always up for rewatches or hidden gems
