My upscaler arrived, intended for my AES+ and SuperStation One, which still haven’t shown up yet. In the meantime, I’d like to play Garou on my PS5 with some CRT filters. Should I set the PS5’s output to 1080p instead of Auto so retrotink can properly do its job? Also worth noting: I’m using a 4K monitor.

I have pre ordered the Superstation One and the Neo Geo AES+. Which is best for replicating a CRT-like look on my modern tv?

Considering the AES+ has both HDMI and old-school AV outputs, and I’m using a modern TV, should I just stick with the standard $200 version, or is there any real benefit to spending $300 on the analog edition? Would running the AES+ through AV actually give me a better picture in this setup?
