Graphs for algebraic functions are criminally underrated

Hello, we have curated and posted a video on our youtube channel regarding Graphs for algebraic functions specifically cat focused…as they are very important and do help in understanding algebraic functions fundamentally. This will surely come in handy in your cat exam graph intuition makes solving quadratics, inequalities, modulus, logarithms, exponentials, and finding the number of real solutions much faster. Thinking in terms of intersections, transformations, and the shape of functions can often save minutes in the exam.
If you’re preparing for CAT, don’t skip algebraic function graphs—they’re a high ROI topic.

Its up on our youtube… if u want i can share the link

A quant question which is very important but often is skipped

Hi guys, so we have made a video for our algebra playlist in which we cover the question where a variable raise to the power variable is equals to 1 is given, the question has recently appeared in cat multiple times and is very easy but seems intimidating two equations that too in power!
We have given three simple rules to follow while solving these question types and trust me you will never leave that question for sure! It wiuld be sort of bonus points at this point!! If you want i can share the link in the comments… we want to help people preparing for cat …

Modulus function: the 3 ideas that make most CAT questions easier

Modulus used to feel very case-heavy to me, but once I started thinking of it through a few core ideas, questions became much cleaner.
Here are 3 things that helped me:
1. |x| is distance from 0
So equations like (|x-a|=b) become much easier to visualize as “numbers at distance (b) from (a)”.
2. Break points matter more than brute force
In expressions like (|x-2|+|x+3|), the important points are where the sign changes: x = 2 and x = -3.
Instead of random casework, first identify the break points and split the number line accordingly.
3. Inequalities with modulus are often about ranges, not just algebra
For example, (|x|<a) means (-a<x<a), while (|x|>a) means (x<-a) or (x>a).
A lot of CAT questions become simpler once you think of them as intervals on the number line.
One trap I see often: people open the modulus too early without first identifying the critical points / intervals.
I recently made a detailed walkthrough on Modulus Part 1 covering the basics, case formation and common CAT-style patterns. If sharing resources is okay here and anyone wants it

If You Could Get a Perfect Explanation for One Algebra Topic, What Would It Be?

CAT aspirants, which Algebra topics do you find the most difficult?
We’re trying to understand where students struggle the most in Algebra so we can create better explanations and practice content.
Some topics that seem to cause difficulties are:
• Logarithms
• Functions
• Modulus
• Quadratic Equations
• Inequalities
• AM-GM / HM / GM
• Surds & Indices
A few questions:
Which Algebra topic took you the longest to understand?
Which topic do you still find uncomfortable in mocks?
Which topic do you feel is poorly taught by most CAT resources?
If you could get a perfect explanation for one Algebra topic, what would it be?
We’re currently putting together topic-wise explanations and curated practice sets based on common student difficulties, so your responses will genuinely help us decide what to cover next.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Heres a link for the playlist till what we have made will be adding more topics soon https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5pdZiaQDTFpB322oV-H15xRQa-NgQIL6&si=EVz0VbCBvVz10YsT hope you find it helpful also pls subscribe your support means a lot
