Hey seniors, I wanted to get some clarity about branches and campuses before making a decision. (I apologize if this isn't the correct place to ask these questions but other related threads were mostly inactive)
I had a few questions mainly about choosing Pilani ECE vs Goa CSE:

1. Why did you choose Pilani ECE over Goa CSE? Was it for Pilani’s brand value or personal interest in ECE, or some other reason?
2. With the current market trends and AI/semiconductor growth, what advantages does ECE have over CSE?
3. A lot of people say ECE is very difficult, and grading in Pilani ECE is tougher compared to Goa CSE. Does a lower CG affect placements, internships, or opportunities for higher studies?
4. Why do many ECE students eventually go into software roles instead of core ECE roles? Is there still a big difference in opportunities between CSE and ECE? Also if I really try to switch, is it really hard to manage coding alongside ECE coursework?
