I found this guy on the ground at H‑E‑B. The plant it came from was something I hadn’t seen before. A large stem that seemed to break open at the top and grow these “ears”. This one is about 4-5 inches across. Not sure how to prop so he’s stuck in well draining soil with some growth hormone. Anyone know what is is or how to care for it? Tx!

He’s about a year old and was leaning in his pot. The soil looked a bit depleted so I decided to repot. I expected to see fatter and more roots. I don’t over water and also give succulent fertilizer as directed. Thoughts on how to perk him up? Btw, he’s now in a new pot with new succulent soil and a haircut. 🤞
