Adding ram question

Sorry for the new question kind of new to the PC gaming build. Want I go from 8gb to 16, OptiPlex 5060 with 8 GB of RAM. Should I add one more 8 GB stick or take out the eight gig stick and add two brand new sticks to make 16

Help with fatexplorer

Attempting to upgrade hdd (Another IDE) everything works up in I go to lock it to which I get this error when trying to select the drive. Anyone ever experience this? Is this a problem with the Hard drive or the usb adapter?
