Further Assessment Email? HELP!

Hi, I checked the Oasis Communication Centre since the result released and saw that I have been granted a Further Assessment (FA). However, I haven’t received any email with the details yet.

Will the FA follow the same format as the final exam? Like, will it cover the same topics as the final exam , and will we still be allowed to bring a cheat sheet etc? If anyone can provide more details I will be very grateful.

Failed?

Hi, if my current enrolments shows the unit that I enrol in sem 1, does it mean I failed? Also my enrol in units becomes potentially complete :( .

Final year international student, might fail a prerequisite unit and delay graduation. What are my options?

Hi everyone, I’m currently in my final year as an international student, and next semester is supposed to be my last semester before graduation.

The problem is that I have a feeling I might fail one of my units this semester. Unfortunately, it’s a prerequisite unit. If I fail it, there are two units I was planning to take next semester that I won’t be able to enrol in because they require this unit as a prerequisite.

I’m pretty stressed because this would likely push my graduation back by at least one semester. As an international student, that could also mean having to extend or reapply for my student visa, which is something I’d really like to avoid.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before?

I’m wondering is it worth talking to the unit coordinator before final results are released?

Do universities ever allow a resit/supplementary exam in situations where failing a unit would delay graduation?

Is there any chance the faculty could approve a prerequisite waiver and let me take the prerequisite unit together with the other two units next semester?

What are my chances of getting some kind of exception as a final-year student?

I’d really appreciate hearing about anyone’s experience with this🙏🙏🙏
