He’s such a predictable creature. In the evenings after dinner he will position himself outside our bathroom so that when we finally do head to bed he can jump up on the counter for his sink water. Silly old man 🤣🤣
…doesn’t take the old man long to find his weekend vibes…guest room naps in progress. Gotta save up that energy for snack time and sink water time 😹
my old blue sure does love his “treats” - which he doesn’t know is just a seafood flavored food that is different from his regular grub. But if 5:30pm comes around I’m not heading to the pantry then he will let me know!! Bcuz Abys are like that 🤣🤣
These two crazies changed our house in so many ways at a time when we both needed it. Best friends and friendly fighters - they could go from cleaning each other to chasing and biting-crying a second later. We lost the alpha a few years ago and his lonely brother still manages to hold it together and has even adopted a few of his alpha brothers traits. Love them while you have them - almost 15 yrs of love from one of these guys is an amazing gift ❤️

The old man has had one consistent trait for his 14+ years - no toilet paper, tissue box, papers on the desk, or trash can(that he can get into) is safe from him searching for a snack. He’s eaten checks we had written and/or not deposited- rolled TP across the bathroom and absolutely LOVES to eat tissues at 2am while ur trying to sleep. Love him regardless bcuz he’s the sweetest boy ever.

Morning ritual- settle on the bed and wait for the quiet house…basically “yelling” at me to go to work. 🤣🤣
This breed is super smart - which you all already know…about 2 yrs ago I set out to see if the old guy could learn a new trick. At 12 yrs old I had my doubts…and I should have known better. Started out slowly using a small bell - seeing if I could get him to make it ring…took him a few days to get that down and every time I immediately gave him a treat. BTW - once u teach this u need to keep the bell out of sight or you will be a snack machine 🤣🤣🤣. OH - also the snack is actually just a seafood flavored cat food that he’s convinced is a snack bcuz it’s different from his regular.

this guy is an elder (another Reddit members label) at 14+ yrs old. But he has done this stance his whole life. Just have to catch him doing it 🤣🤣🤣
He doesn’t climb on top of the cabinets as much - he doesn’t zoom as much - he naps a little longer. But he’s still as sweet as ever and talks constantly - and loves a little nap in the chair w his dad ❤️
