Why is it so hard just to draw a rectangle with an outline?

Hello, I am trying to edit a basement blueprint and just draw simple color coded rectangular boxes around certain areas and add captions to them. I was told Inkscape would be a good choice for this, but it really is not.

I click the rectangle button and try to draw the shape, and it's filled for some reason. I try and remove the fill, and the border disappears. I head to google for help (app is so confusing I need help DRAWING A BOX) and I go through a bunch of steps to add a 'stroke' and it suddenly finally appears, but its hairline thin and I see no way to easily thicken it. the px size stuff at the top all pertains to the box shape, not the thickness

Man, I absolutely hate linux for stuff like this. What's the point of making an app so deliberately obtuse?

WireGuard Clients cannot stay connected when transitioning between LTE and WiFi even after trying Persistent Keepalive

Hello, all!

I am having a frustrating problem. I am using the latest up to date OPNsense on an Intel machine as a home router.

I followed the official guide with success to setting up the WireGuard server on my OPNsense, then used the Peer Generator to make profiles for my cell phone, my wifes cellphone, and my Mom's cellphone. They can both connect from the outside world, whether on their phones data plan or their WiFi and all works great, it's very fast, they can access my media -- almost all is wonderful. BUT.

The problem all 3 of us are having, across both Android and 2x iOS, is maintaining connectivity during LTE & WiFi transition.. I can even force the symptom. For testing purposes, right now, I have WiFi off completely and start my phone on LTE (Bell Mobility)

I hit connect in the WireGuard app, it connects to myhouse.ip:12345 and handshakes and browsing is all perfect. Then I slide down the top of the screen, enable WiFi, it jumps onto my homes access point -- and poof. The internet connection is dead, permanently, and NEVER recovers. It's at a halt, forever -- I waited 30 minutes on the spot just to try and get it woken up, and had zero success. I can then toggle the switch off, and instantly back on, and all is well as if nothing ever happened.

It's beyond frustrating

I even turned on Persistent Keepalive in the config, and set it to 25 seconds -- makes zero difference. The WireGuard status will show Keepalive Interval = 25, yet last handshake is 35 minutes ago.

It just never, ever recovers.

On iOS it seems a good solution is to use "On Demand" for LTE so it rebuilds the tunnel once you step outside. I don't see this for Android though

Any help would be greatly appreciated, OPNsense forums have been quiet any time I've asked a question there. I don't even get a reply

EDIT : also! It's not MTU.. That's the first thing Gemini suggested when I queried it for help, and I tried values from 1280 and less to zero effect, sorry.

Not sure what kind of pathetic loser is downvoting the thread and anyone replying, this website is absolutely pathetic
