/r/Pensacola Mod Applications

We're looking for users to help moderate the nightmare that is /r/Pensacola.

It's important to us to maintain the culture/moderation style of the subreddit, so we're going to be pretty selective about who we onboard. With that in mind, we've created a short form to get an idea of how you might view moderating choices.

If you have somehow convinced yourself that being a moderator here is something worth doing, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/UBPdXeG3QwNztvNa9

/r/Pensacola Mayoral AMA Series

Over the month of July, /r/Pensacola will host AMAs for the mayoral candidates. All six qualified candidates have been invited to participate, and so far we've had a very positive response.

We're excited for the community to engage with the candidates and grateful they're taking the time to chat with all of us. In exchange, we expect the conversations to remain respectful and productive.

And I cannot stress this enough, there will be absolutely no "Chili's on 9th" jokes.

The first AMA of the series will take place this week and will be posted soon. Candidates will make their posts and leave them up to accumulate questions before returning later in the day to answer questions.

Back in Pensacola after being stuck on a cruise ship for over a month, anything fun going on this week?

Haven’t really posted for a while, went on a “luxury 🙄” cruise in Argentina that ended up getting a little detailed and basically stranded for over a month while they made us stay in our cabins with almost no wifi signal.

Now that I’m back on dry land and able to stretch my legs again I’d love to find something to get out of the house and go do this week/weekend.

Let me know what’s up!!

EDIT: Preferably nothing too loud I’ve had a splitting headache for days now
