Hello, I have a dillemma and would love some help!

My mom passed away a few months ago and before she did we were going to close her account together, but never got the chance to. We shared a checking account (so i guess I'm a joint account owner) and i do have her death certificate. Would this be enough to close her account and recieve the funds in her savings too?

I did schedule an appointment but i wanted some more insight before going. I'm afraid they'll turn me away and freeze the accounts (even though the checking is mine too).

Edit: i don't have anything like executor or probate to show them. Just that I'm the joint account owner and death certificate.
