Transactions with cryptocurrency-linked instruments not allowed

Since today I can't buy crypto related etf on self direct account. Specifically it is BITA. I purchased it few weeks ago with no problems, and it seems I can sell it, but not allowed to buy more. Anyone faced same problem? I called wealth management and they told me they can't disclose why it is not allowed anymore huh.

Paze credit

On June 28, I made 10 Sephora purchases on my Chase Bonvoy Boundless through Paze. On June 29, I received one $10 credit. It's now July 5 and no more credits. What is your experience with these credits posting? Are more coming?

Opened a Business Chase Account and was Permanently banned for trying to get their promotion

I'm running a business currently, and it started to really take off recently to the point that I don't really have to work, or if so, only on the business.

Since I was fairly new at this, the one thing I learned was that I must separate personal and business finances, so I opened a Chase Business bank account. It showed a nice promotion of $400 or $500 if you transferred in a balance above the threshold it wanted.

So I did just that after opening; I added $7k to the bank account. A few days later, I noticed the transfer hadn't gone through, so I logged on to find out my account was restricted and to call the number.

I called; they transferred me over to new accounts, and when they looked into it, they said, "Sorry, bad news: your account is going to be closed, and you won't be able to reapply."

This was such BS; I understand a temp restriction to verify identity and that it was me who wanted to transfer, but banning someone for going for the promotion that convinced them to sign up was just horrible.

I don't think I'll ever want to come to Chase Bank ever again.

Help ASAP

As mentioned in the title, I have been going for two months in panic mode. The reason is that I don't know how scammers or data brokers get my personal data and spend my college account like crazy. So it's believed that I got charged for the Xbox pass or Microsoft related. It was under "POS DEBIT MICROSOFT*XBOX GAME PA +18006427676 WA." Is this legit or a scam? I've filed a claim and so far nothing its pontless and I'm starting to lose hope. I've lost about 302 dollars from the last two months. What can I do? Is my financial situation ruined?

Last summer, I dealt with a scammer but not knowing if it was real or not. It was too late and about 3,500 dollars were gone and there was no way of getting it back. Did I just waste my time attending school? I'm still working on my bachelor's and recently graduated so who knows what's next for me?

I do appreciate some feedback, positive or negative; I just need help. Thanks

Single man on hospice, will die within a month, account is locked by Chase and Durham for being frivolous with money

He receives $150,000 every month as part of settlement and wants to use it to do whatever he wants.

Apparently an acquaintance who acts like a bully came into the bank when he was there and demanded that he be paid $25,000 money for a car purchase in cash. Chase decides to lock the

Was scheduled a meeting with the (not sure if vice president had some big shot in fraud,
there were appointments available all day all day, they toook the earliest at 9am but were apparently 18 minutes ( video conference at the bank). They can't see big shot executive until July 9..

Supposedly, this is the only person in Chase they can unlock the funds

they held $90,000 he had left for month of June and now they additional $150,000 that was just deposited two not days ago as well.

This man will die within two months, but it could be less than a week. What should he do?

PS this is actually truthful and serious is happening right now. It's not some stupid bullshit. Fake post crap

Business & Checking at Chase

Happy 4th! I'm looking for feedback from anyone who currently uses Chase for both business and personal banking. I'm hesitant because I've heard stories about accounts being locked or closed by their trigger-finger algorithms, but I also wonder whether those people were actually in the wrong and were blaming Chase Bank. I currently have a business checking account and a total checking account (newly opened). I haven't fully moved my personal banking over yet, as I'm not certain I should.

For reference, I'm a consultant, so I receive commissions from my partner for our services. I take a draw from the business to my personal checking for living expenses, and the rest stays in the business. Aside from setting aside tax payments and paying my AMEX & Capital One business cards, I don't do any other transactions; no employees, no payroll, no wires, so it's pretty straightforward. On the personal side, I pay my rent, car payment, and credit cards from the account; nothing crazy there either. I don't have a Chase credit card because I'm in the AMEX ecosystem and don't really need one. I feel like my banking habits are quite vanilla and safe. I do have an HYSA with money set aside for emergencies should something ever happen.

Does anyone have any positive/negative feedback on making them a one-stop shop?

$400 New account bonus, when did you receive it?

I signed up for a new account so I could get the $400 bonus and was wondering when I would be receiving it. For others on here, I’ve heard it’s processed on a Tuesday, were the funds in your account that Tuesday or was there a 10-15 day wait period before you received the $400 after that Tuesday?

Has anyone ever accidentally Zelle a stranger money? If so, what was the outcome?
My son accidentally sold $400 that was meant for me to my old cell phone number-leaving me in a tough financial position as that money is meant for bills every month. I try to file a dispute with Chase, but they denied my claim. I reached out to the recipient and at first he said that he would return the money as soon as it posts to his account and then the next day he changed his mind stating that if it was a true accident for my son to file a dispute with the bank and he’ll get his money back and that the money will stay in his account untouched. I don’t know what else to do. Does anybody have any advice as to what I can do?

Why did they remove the atm’s inside?

The 3 chase banks by me removed all of their stand alone atms inside. The only one they have is the one attached to a wall. I loved that I was able to get 1 or 5 dollar bills.

ELI5 Chase credit card automatic payments + due dates

Asking as someone who has been abroad for a long while and just returning to the US and getting used to how credit cards work here. So I opened a new Chase checking account and got approved for a credit card (Freedom Unlimited) which I plan on using for everyday purchases and paying everything off on-time.

I have set up automatic payments and switched the amount from Minimum Payment to Statement Balance (which I found sneaky on their part). Payment (due) date is on the 2nd of the month.

Two days ago (on the 1st) I found that the app displayed the next Payment due date was on August 2, which somehow bypassed July 2 entirely. Panicking a little I immediately made a manual payment to my credit card, which cleared yesterday. But I'm still wondering why, even though I set up automatic payment, it somehow almost skipped a month?

And as a broader question - is it generally safe in your experience to set up Automatic Payments, set to pay Statement Balance, and forget about it entirely?

And what happens to CC purchases made very close to or on the day of the Due Date, if you don't have automatic payments set up? Do you then have hours or minutes to make a payment or does it roll over to the next month?

Email alerts stopped this month

I have email alerts set for any transaction over $2.00 and as of July 1st I've stopped getting notifications even though I've used the card. Checked my account and the alerts are still enabled. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

Cellular Protection Plan ending?

The cellular protection plan is no longer listed under benefits on the Chase Freedom Flex benefits page. Based on this: https://www.chasebenefits.com/K113-022/pdf/BGC11539.pdf, it will end on 9/20/2026.

"Cell Phone Protection will cover eligible losses incurred through 09/19/26 and will be discontinued 09/20/26."

I just got this card, switched my phone plans to it, went to document the link in my personal notes, and noticed this...

Does anyone know or see anything different on their Chase Freedom Flex cards?

edit: I never saw any notification, but I just got the card, so it's possible I got the card after the announcement AND/OR i just missed it...but I got the card specifically for this benefit was documenting the perk in a central location and went to get details....and discovered it was no longer a benefit. :-/

Would you rather have a $250 sign up bonus after spending $500 in the first 3 months, or 3% cash back on every purchase in the first 12 months?

I know the latter is better, but I don’t know if I will even be spending that much, which makes the first option a sure thing

Chargeback on a charitable donation?

Hi, this is really dumb of me and I understand that but I was approached by people on the street who were asking for donations to something. I donated some based on what they said but after looking up their organization a little more I didn’t feel comfortable donating to them. Would Chase accept a chargeback for this considering I did not receive a service or product? Thanks in advance!

How do I sort (reorder) my accounts on web browser?

I have 6 personal checking/saving accounts at Chase. I am able to sort/reorder them on the android app. But can't seem to find a way to do it on the website.

I would like my 3 Joint checking accounts to be listed first. Then my 2 individual checking accounts and then finally my individual savings account.

Same goes for my investment accounts. I want my trading account to be on top, then my IRA second and finally my ROTH IRA last.

I am able to do this on the android app, but the changes do not carry over to the website. Any ideas?

Check on an extended hold

I just went to a local branch for my chase account an I deposited a check i got from a class action lawsuit, the teller on 6/29/26, the lady told me it would be on a extended hold til 7/08/26 with no available funds. She told me to call the number on my receipt the next day and request why it was being held for so long. I contacted them, got one lady who was really rude and told me my account was new and i told her i just opened it in October, i really opened it end of September. She told i opened it in December.

When I asked for to speak to a supervisor to try and ask what's going on she just put me on hold and got her coworker who was the same position. Told that person what was going on and to try to see if they could expedite the check since I deposited one before from the same payer I got another lawsuit from a class action from another old employer i had. They said I couldn't make the process go faster even though I told them I can have the bank that issued the check and also the law firm to contact them to verify the check is valid. He said he couldn't help me to expedite it and that's when I asked if he was a supervisor, he said no, I then told him the last person I talked to said she would connect me to a supervisor and never did. This person said he escalated the problem and his supervisor and would contact me in 24 to 48 hours.
