Paying in advance to buy plane tickets

Hi! I just wanna ask if anyone here has already experienced paying in advance on their credit card to pay for a plane ticket?

For context i will be paying for me and my brother's plane ticket on Chase Travel and I would like to deposit/pay-in-advance my credit card for $5000 because i only have $1.8k credit limit.

I asked a bank teller on Chase and they said that I can do that, but when I called a customer representative on my card (because im dealing with a separate issue), they said that i cannot do it, that it was not possible.

Please help, I dont want to pay using my debit card for a plane ticket.

Buying a car full cash but got hard credit check

Hi! I am stressed out right now. I recently bought a car and my dad did a downpayment of $2,400 as a gift, to get a hold of the car with a total of $8k cuz I am still getting the claim money from the insurance (i got total loss, not my fault).

Anyway I bought it from Koons Tysons Toyota, they told me that they needed to do a credit check on me but I told them what for since I am gonna be paying FULL in CASH. The guy said that it was a law of some sort and he told me that it's only gonna be a soft pull, WHICH WAS NOT when I checked the Experian App. Not only did they did it once, they did it TWICE. Now my credit score would be fked up right? I dont know what to do, I need help.

edit*

I also bought a car this year, the one that got total loss, the dealer never did a credit check on me and i paid $12k full in cash.

Another update

I called the manager and asked him about the credit check, he told me that it is required because I'm still getting the money from the insurance company and that they do not have in-house money to cover it so they are gonna be getting it from the bank? which i would have to pay eventually.

Thank u to everyone who tried to understand and help me with this issue. I'm just weirded out that the sales guy told us that it was gonna be a soft pull and not a hard pull and that it was required by the law.

Buying a used 2013 Suberu Forester

Hi! I just wanna be sure, I saw a listing online selling a used 2013 Subaru Forester for 6k. It has 115k miles on it and I already did a test drive to it with my dad and there seems to be no issue. I'm just a bit sus that they're selling it for that price, what do u guys think?
