Had to take it outside and get a picture of it in its natural habitat.

I’m a bit behind in posting to this sub, but I am aiming to put out only the quality stuff and I’m also practicing with color, shading, and highlighting (I have another pad for this).

Anyway here’s my take on my favorite spider Blackarachnia. I didn’t expect the colors to look so good but I tried some things and I’d say she turned out well.

Also the lighting looks very even for once in these pictures (took a brick to the cranium to figure out how to position it just right).

She took a while and I swear I changed the pose about 9 times before settling on this. Anyway, enjoy our beloved City Speaker.

Tried something new for this one, I don’t know if I like the background but it’s too late to change it. Maybe once I finally get iPad I’ll redo these drawings digitally, but for now here we are. I am working on Windblade, so hopefully that’ll be up soon.

This post is primarily to show off her finished alt mode since it wasn’t done in the original post.

Airachnid is an incredibly effective huntress, utilizing a number of tools and techniques to track and subdue her prey. She is fond of keeping her prey as “trophies”, stored in a derelict light duty Decepticon transport. It’s far from the proper space she needs, but there’s always the idea of utilizing the Nemesis…

(Don’t mind the alt-mode, I don’t really like how it looks.)

I’ve been itching to post something after seeing so much art lately, and I’m pretty pleased with how’s she’s come along.
