Does Burning Shores expand the lore of Horizon?

I’m thinking of replaying Horizon Forbidden West from start to finish including the Burning Shores DLC, but going again on Forbidden West, does Burning Shores expands on the lore or makes progress on the story of the franchise in any way to keep in mind while replaying Forbidden West?

In my opinion, I felt Burning Shores was a downgrade in its narrative and story. Also compared to Frozen Wilds, I think how we come to meet Hephaestus and understand that sub-function better keeps you intrigued and it’s pivotal to understanding the plot in Forbidden West.

Do you think, remember or feel Burning Shores did something similar to Forbidden West or the next installment? I remember Walter Londra and his borderline personality but did seem to expand from what we already knew of the Far Zeniths, specifically because I feel Tilda had already proved the point, and that he had a sentient AI Nova, but we put to rest that poor soul. Also we expand on the Quen but didn’t seem to expand more than the “other half of your crew survived.”

I would like to know your thoughts.

Hello, so for context, I am a young female traveling in a tour to Japan early October of this year. And I had an option to add an extra free-day in Tokyo, which I took. So I want to ask what are some of the best activities to spend my day in. This day I’m spending it alone and while I initially wanted to go to DisneySea as I love Disney parks and have heard wonderful things about it. I also don’t want to miss out on other awesome activities to do in Japan. If anyone has a recommendation for activities to do, please send my way, I was thinking about an aquarium, I know Tokyo has one, and maybe a wonderful view like Tokyo Tree. Maybe a museum someone can recommend. I’m just looking for personal recommendations of things people have done in Tokyo and loved the experience.
