Just picked up a 2025 F350 Platinum yesterday. The duramax and Cummins were nice but nothing compared to the powerstroke.

I’m looking to buy my first super duty. I found a ‘24 F350 Lariat Ultimate with the Tremor package, 6.7 HO and 26k miles. They are asking $72k for it which is right in the ballpark for KBB. It was a fleet truck and the carfax shows 4 oil changes so far.

Looking at the engine hours it shows 2066 total hours with 1100 idle hours. Everything I’ve seen says ideally idle hours would be 25% or less of total engine hours. How critical is this?

The rest of the truck is really nice and it has all of the options I’m looking for

It appears that about half of the limbs are dead, not growing new leaves and big branches are regularly falling off of it. There’s also this strange red mold or moss growing on it
