PSA: my SKYLRK online pre-order hoodie is a completely different product than the one sold at the festival

ordered the SWAG Coachella hoodie (black, L) on april 18. $140 + $15 shipping, "ships in 10-12 weeks." totally fine with that - preorder merch takes time, i get it. got the delay email june 19 saying production was complete and it'd ship early july. still fine. was genuinely hyped.

it arrived. and here's the thing - my friend bought a hoodie ON SITE at the festival, so i got to put them next to each other. they are not the same product:

- festival version: oversized fit, heavyweight fabric, tag says Made in USA

- my online version: cropped, runs SMALL, thin fabric, tag says Made in China

same name. same price. different garment. i'm not talking "slight batch variance" - i'm talking my friend's hoodie looks and feels like a $140 piece and mine feels like the free hoodie you get for opening a checking account lmao

to be clear, i was never mad about the wait. they've had my $155 since april and what showed up is not the product that was marketed. that's the issue.

what i've done so far, for anyone in the same boat:

  1. emailed them a formal demand - refund or a replacement matching the festival spec.
  2. photographed everything - both hoodies side by side, both tags, order confirmation, their delay emails
  3. if they don't respond in 3 business days i'm going to dispute for "goods not as described" + FTC/BBB/state AG complaints

if your online order showed up cropped/thin/Made in China-tagged, check your friend's festival one if you can and document it. don't just eat it.

anyone else's order show up like this? seeing rando talks around, but want to try and pull some people together.. curious if it's the whole online run or just some of us
