A Short Stay In Hell is a book about a man betrayed by a false God in the afterlife

"Soren Johansson has always believed he’ll be reunited with his loved ones after death in an eternal hereafter. Then, he dies. Soren wakes to find himself cast by a God he has never heard of into a Hell whose dimensions he can barely grasp: a vast library he can only escape from by finding the book that contains the story of his life.

In this haunting existential novella, author, philosopher, and ecologist Steven L. Peck explores a subversive vision of eternity, taking the reader on a journey through the afterlife of a world where everything everyone believed in turns out to be wrong."

"So instead of getting a "life review", he has to find his own personal life story book in a vast labyrinthian library in order to escape this hell and get into heaven. But this Hell is modeled after the library of Babel. Hundreds of thousands of miles of books. Turns out, the library is not huge, not gigantic, not enormous, it is a vast near-infinite complex of identical shelves as far as the eye can see. A hundred thousand miles is a small infinitesimal fragment of the sheer vastness of this library."

They've known about (Jared Leto) Allegations since 2005 (MeToo was 2006)

Why wasn't he taken down back then? Why did it take 16 years for this to catch up with him, to the point where they've now made a BBC documentary about his alleged ephebophilia?

Correction: I get that MeToo became a thing in 2017. But it was first coined in 2006. My mistake for mistaking the actual movement beginning in 2006. It didn't gain traction until 2017.

"The phrase "Me Too" was initially used in this context on social media around 2006, on Myspace, by sexual assault survivor and activist Tarana Burke."

Laughing Stock wasn't part of the new 2025 half-speed vinyl/CD remaster/reissues?

So the first 4 albums were re-released in half-speed masters on vinyl, as well as new cardboard digi-sleeve pressings on CD (which I bought) in 2025 (using the same remastering from the 1997 pressings). But they haven't reissued or remastered Laughing Stock since 1991, apparently? Surprised they would leave that one out as it's officially their 5th & final album (& quite possibly their most underrated). Any thoughts on this?

Code Murasaki is a great album but no MP3, vinyl or CD exists!

Looking for this album (Babylon Butterfly), but it doesn't exist in physical or MP3 format, only streaming, and the artist seems to be a ghost online as well. They're not even listed on Discogs (nor is this album). If anyone knows where I can PAY for a copy or even download of this album, please share. Thank you.
