Same model 160w bifacial solar panels but different listed net weight.

Went to Costco Japan to buy the 160w bi-facial solar panel.

I noticed 2 slightly different box designs mixed in the stacks. Didn't think anything of it at first. Both box designs had the same SKU, model number, and part number.

But it seems the solar panels with the newer box design (the one with the 5 year warranty shield logo on it) which happens to have the newer manufacturing dates, are strangely a lighter net weight.

Did the change something in the manufacturing? Why the change in weight?

Of course I bought the newer panel, but curious why they'd change something within the same model number.
