Here’s my current feeding station. I have a murder of five that come every day. Been about a year of regular feeding. My daily
feeding usually consists of peanuts, dog food and cashews. They love those cashews. And I mean they LOVE those cashews. First thing they grab. First one there eats as many as they can. Just a grab and swallow. Question is, do they store the nuts in their pouch and enjoy later or is it “glup” and thanks for the treat.

I’m at my wits end. A raccoon(s?) has discovered my feeders and raids it every night. I’ve tried a baffle, shields, greasing the pole, hot cayenne pepper, traps and spikes. Check out the current setup. Normally there are two feeders. The bastards dragged one into the woods. They’ve also dragged away one camera, two landscaping lights and three sonic deterrents. None of trees are close enough to jump. I’m trying to avoid violence because my grandkids think it’s funny.

I had a hard cider at a Neil Diamond tribute band at our local winery, Warner’s Vineyard. Got bored and read the label on the can. Check the last sentence…
