How should the MCU handle Kitty Pryde?
I was thinking about how the MCU should approach Kitty Pryde, and honestly, I hope they skip the wide-eyed teen rookie arc this time.
We already got the cutesy, younger version in the Fox movies. To help distance the MCU mutants from that era, what if she’s already introduced as a capable adult who shares an established past with Logan?
Think along the lines of Jason Aaron’s Wolverine and the X-Men era, competent, tactical, running things, and someone who treats Logan as an equal/friend rather than just an older mentor figure.
It would instantly show that mutants have actual history in the world, while giving us a version of the character the movies haven't touched yet.
