How easy is it to get a ticket for a game?

I'd like to see an NFL game, and I've chosen the Cowboys.

I ask, because if you want a ticket for a top Premier League football(soccer) club in the UK, you've little option other than corporate.

Id like the normal fan experience.

Can you just turn up on the day and pay? Do any tickets go on general sale?
