Offered for sale is a Pilot C-500MW, one of the earliest generations of the legendary Pilot Capless series. Produced during the 1960s, this model represents an important chapter in fountain pen history, featuring Pilot’s ingenious rotary retractable mechanism that predates the modern push-button Capless.
Unlike contemporary Capless models, the C-500MW extends and retracts its 14K gold nib with a smooth twisting action, making it both mechanically fascinating and highly collectible.

Shows cosmetic wear, including scratches and paint loss consistent with age.
